The Yin and Yang is made of a black and a white half. A perpetual dance of opposites: from good to bad, long to short, winter to summer.
When we look more closely we notice that the white half has a little black point, and the little white point is enclosed by the black half.
Yet one can view these little dots as the seeds that birth the opposite. Good times have within them the seed of bad times, and vice-versa.
It is as if, when things are good or bad, they are placed on some potential field. A ball naturally starts to fall when we release it above ground.
Therefore, in good times, be conscious of the seed that will bring about bad times. When times are bad, acknowledge the seed that will bring change.
